The 12th Annual Street Painting Festival will feature hundreds of talented artists creating incredible works of art directly on the asphalt surface of the Norman P. Murray Center! Madonnari (street painters) from far and wide will demonstrate their skill at re-creating Masterpieces or original works of art using their amazing talent, chalk, and love of art!
Visitors to FunWithChalk on April 24 and 25, 2010, will have the opportunity to particpate in Sponsor Grand Pacific Resorts' annual $5,000.00 Grand Prize drawing!

Attendees will see amazing entertainment, hear beautiful music, participate in the renowned FunWithChalk Workshops, and see actual art "studios" with fine artists demonstrating their talent and creativity in various media.

CAP's FunWithChalk Festivals seek to educate, entertain, and positively affect the way both children and adults perceive and understand the arts and artists. Through Festivals, shows, and support for art and music education, CAP seeks to underscore the need for the arts in the lives of children.
During our 12 year history, we been supportive of art programs in the schools, made teacher grants for art projects, and benefitted programs that work with children who have been subjected to domestic violence and abuse.
Our all-volunteer Advisory Board works tirelessly to provide the highest quality Festival entertainment and activities. Sponsorships and donations (tax deductible as per IRS regulations) are desperately needed in order for us to continue having an impact on our society, and creating opportunities for youngsters to "think outside of the box" for their future success in life. IN MEMORIAM
The Festivals lost two wonderful long-time supporters this past year. Don Devor had headed up our immensely popular "Little Street Painters" section, for over a decade. His great spirit, love of children, friendship, and lifelong dedication to education will be long remembered.
Don Dunkleman had taken great joy in watching our artists create beautiful images from scratch, and in particular, his grandson, Alex Rajic, whose tremendous advances as a Madonnari, over all these years, delighted him. Don's family is our presenting sponsor this year.
